anyone know what size amp they where putting in the kits that have an amp 10" sub and wiring kit

300 watts max 150 rms

Not very much concidering the brand.

You can do a web search of the model number to find out.

Don't go by MAX watts though. RMS is where it really matters.

For example:

300 watts RMS is more power than 300 watts MAX.

300 watts RMS = 600 watts MAX
300 watts MAX = 150 watts RMS

RMS is the nominal (average) wattage.
MAX is the peak which an amp rarely hits.

lightning makes more than one amp, so unless you give us a model number, it gives us no help.

and probably around 120 watts RMS (which is what matters), maybe less.

and why would you ever buy such worthless stuff?
