What connection does political affiliation have to religious affiliation? I have noticed that Republicans tend to use Liberal as a dirty word. I have noticed that Republicans tend to criticize liberals as being "unrealistic" about the magnitude of threats against America---Republicans don't think Liberals are AFRAID enough. Maybe this is the link???

I am a liberal and a Christian. Yes, I'd say Wiccan (being one myself) or Budhist or Zen or something of that nature...perhaps New Age. However, I am also a Green (Green Party). I only vote Democratic when there is no Green Party candidate because way too many Democrats are too christian, or too fundamentatist and too conservative.
