Seems about right to me. If only we got to hear about all the people who never had their prayers answered and their loved ones died of some grotesque disease or they loose everything because they cant find work no matter how hard they pray...I bet when the good things get put on TV and are attributed to prayer people would realize what a joke prayer is.

But that will never happen, and people will just go by what they see on the boob tube because they are boobs.

I take it that is meant to be a joke, as surely you cannot be serious. Why would you care if gambling is not a sin as you obviously are not a christian. In addition, what do you know about prayer? I pray and my prayers are sometimes answered, but not always, though of course it is not a lottery. I mean it would be ridiculous if every prayer was answered exactly, there would be no problems in the world, and therefore no doubt whatsoever about God's existence, and therefore no choice or reason for Christianity pretty much, as everything is perfect for you, and earth would turn into a Heaven. If you are a Christian and you try and pray and God dosn't answer in quite the way you imagine, do not be disheartened. He will in His own way. Just persevere. God bless you all.

I don't believe that gambling is a sin. I think "sin" itself is very subjective. One person's heinous crime is another person's standard behaviour.
Society creates laws and polices those laws. Anything legal within that system cannot be a "sin". If a group of people chooses to call it that and chastises those who behave in that way, that's their prerogative.
You must make your own mind up about the nature of god/God, sin and adult themes such as gambling, drugs, sex and relationships.

Prayer is the spiritual connection between YOU and GOD.

God is NOT a slot machine, nor does he play cards for money- matches, maybe, or pixie sticks and then only on Tuesdays.

Under Jewish law, for only 2 weeks of the year is gambling allowed, and then only for the use of Dradels

Sad...

If you rely oin prayers without actions, You are FKD.

God only helps those who help themselves.

And who do you think God is anyway? Who makes your decisions for you? think about it.

and what you do. decides your destiny.

Unless you're a leaf on the river, then, there is nothing you can do about things that happen to you. because YOU DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE!

Prayer is asking God to change his perfect plan on your behalf.

If I were a god, I'd be pissed about that. Good thing there aren't any.
