Hi my dear :) , I'm a computer guy I hold a two years diploma in computer information system so here is my recommendation for you, For newbee I recommend you start familiarizing yourself with whats called HTML language which is the basic language for building a website, and then go one step up by starting to read DHTML Language then one more step up which is Java for the web.
if you have valuable information to store, have in mind that you need to familiarizing yourself with a language called SQL pronounced sequel language it is used mainly for retrieving data of a database.
and last but not least , learn how to develop a consistent database to incorporate the SQL language with it.
I"m not saying all of that to confuse you my dear if you need more help drop me at my screen name funride2005 and i will be glad to help with my very best.
hope you like that answer ;)
