Alcohol 120% and Daemon tools right to the registry. i've uninstalled them yet the game still says they there and won't run and i'm not up for diving into the registry to find it.... unless someone could tell me where to look, or knows where to find a patch for my little delema. the game is 'Lord of the Rings- Battle for Middle-Earth'

You need to unmount the virtual drive. I guess it should have done it when uninstalling Daemon Tools, but it apparently didn't.
Re-install Daemon Tools, unmount all drives and uninstall it again.

Try searching for issues with CCleaner...it searches your registry for obsolete entries, it might fix your problem.

try downloading and running reg cleaner
