1. The U.S. was the main force to re-establish Israel which put so many Palestinians in refugee camps while Jews took away their properties.

2. Israel is the only reliable ally they have in Middle East oil country.

3. The Zionist lobby is the richest & most influencial in Washington, together with the oil lobby and arms industry lobby.

4. The U.S. administration is using the belief of a large "Christian" following that the re-establishment of the "promised land" is a sign of Christ's imminent return, to bolster their re-election chances.

5. As "born-again Christian" g.W. Bush can't wait to be "lifted up", though he doesn't believe that Christ was serious when He said we should love our neighbours, even if they aree our enemies. - He is by no means alone, unfortunatly!

Because the Christians in the west (UK and USA) want to rule control the "holy land" by proxy. They used WWII as an excuse to create Israel so the land would not be in the hands of Muslims, but the next best thing to Christians..Jews. Jesus was a Jew and at least the Jews read half of the bible.

The Jews are not to blame for the conflict in the Middle East...Its the Christ Cultists who are really behind it all.

Are you sure you didn't leave out some other conspiracy theories? I am sure you also believe that GW caused 9/11 and it is all a plot for him and his cronies take absolute control of eveyone's lives.
Realistically, we have supported and defending Israel from its inception. They are the best friends we have along with the British. We can depend on them, and they have come to depend on us. They are a great ally.

Gen 12:3 And I will bless those who bless you, and curse the one despising you. And in you all families of the earth shall be blessed.

I believe America's prosperity is due in part to our support and aid of Israel and the Jewish people.

Because God promised Abraham that , "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you." We are the only ones who seem to care about this, but we have had fairly Bible-reading Presidents up to now.

Also, a lot of American Jews have emigrated to Israel and it is a fairly American-style democracy with modern technology in the middle of a medieval subcontinent.

Or maybe it's just sympathy for the underdog, which is an American trait.

It's because the bible says that Israel is God's chosen people, so being that a lot of the USA is Christian, they want to be good to Israel and are the first to protect it. Christians believe that bible prophecy is being fulfilled when Israel became a nation in 1948. Check out the following link for more info or google it.

Because the bible tells us that any country that goes against Israel will be cursed. Egypt didn't believe it until the 6-day war, which is why they made a promise to never go to war against Israel again. They believed Israel was given supernatural protection. So, while Egypt doesn't go out of their way to help Israel, they won't go against her either.

interesting question, i almost didn't answer because i just thought you were trying to stir stuff up (which i will do once in a while). there are a lot of big potential subjects in your question as to why, and i don't know for sure, although i have always assumed (maybe incorrectly) that it had something to do with either the jewish presence in the US or the possibility that the US had many Christian believers who think of isreal as 'God's land'. I personally think we invaded iraq for the simple reason of having a strong presence in the mideast for 'endtime' protection of isreal. but then maybe i'm just a loony.

Because Israel is the only non-Muslim country in the middle east. That's why we are allies.

Old alliances and agreements kick in between SOVEREIGN STATES.

The protocols of the elders of Zion was proven a FAKE many many years ago.. almost no one but moon god worshipers mention it now a days.

(PS==you left out Nazi - but I know you are not that either)
