ive heard these contacts allow a lot more oxygen and ur eyes dont dry out. i have regular contacts and there are sooo irrating and dry.

when buying o2 optix do i buy the same strength as my current contacts are?

Contact lenses affect people in different ways - so they may be better than your current contact lenses or they may not be. Your best bet would be to see your optometrist and discuss your different options of contact lenses that could make your eyes feel less irritated and dry. Proclear is actually the only contact lens approved to be used for dry eye but there are others that, although not approved (only means they cannot advertise use for that reason), work just as well or perhaps better.
With visiting your optometrist, you can try a lens out for a week and see if it does work for you, and if not, try another brand.
