I turned down a second date with a guy by saying that my ex had just come back to town, and we talked and realized how much we still loved each other and we were getting back together IMMEDIATELY. The first date was awful. He compared me to the steak he was eating, admitted to doing cocaine, and made the comment (while we were walking down a neon-lighted hall) "Oh, I like this, it makes me feel like Batman." Oh, and the first date lasted ten hours. That excuse seemed like the only thing that he would buy...lol.

dear date curious,

I once made a blind date with a telephone operator. While passing by her vehicle, there was a woman weighing about 400lbs, in the drivers seat. Fortunately, she had no clue as to my appearance.
Later that day I placed a call to her, she did deserve an explanation. The conversation went something along these lines. About a year ago I was castrated. This operation has greatly diminished my desire to date cows.

being honest .. told her that i dont want to announce to the world that there is something between us even though we are just friends .. lets keep it this way .. at that time it seemed worst reason coz we didnt talk for weeks .. but now when we talk about it .. it was the best reason coz we are still friends and have more trust on eachother .. thats the good part of being honest .. its always good in long term . .. when u tell a lie, u have to keep telling lies to cover the original lie ..

The best and the worst reason is:- I would never go on a date with you because I would rather watch a bear crap in the woods than spend one second in your company. There endeth the lesson.

Genuinely...an excuse a friend used but when a truly awful guy with bad breath asked her to dinner she said she didn't eat.....might have worked but she's a rather large girl.

Whats the problem with just being honest. I mean saying you dont want to go out with someone isnt that big a deal, and lets face it you dont want to be with someone who doesnt want to be with you.

Or is it me...

"Sorry, But I really need to go find some dog food for my fish." I know, that was really stupid, but I was so nervous I messed all my words up. But, at least he got the point and left me alone after that...
