Are there some folk out there that no where I'm comin' from?
Are there some folk out there who have tried and tried to do what is right and biblical, but they still get set up to be humiliated by certain so called "church folk" within the sanctuary?
I'm not bitter. I'm just keepin' it real and want to know if I'm the only one.

yes, seems like they would know better, but it happened to me, too. at my church, there were a lot rich people. I think that was part of the problem. my advice is try to find another church where people aren't so rude.

My father grew up extremely poor. My father's father was an irresponsible, selfish, and violent man. To help his mom keep the family together, my dad had to go down to the church to get grocery money weekly. The priest would have my father sit and watch him eat. The priest would be served by a nun, with the meal literally on silver, with wine in crystal. The priest would force my father to sit on a chair watching him eat. Only when he was finished, would the priest write out a check to my father, who had sat there wearing ragged clothes and sole-less shoes, stomach rumbling. Did this priest once use his time with my father to show Christ's love? No. After eating in silence, he would give my father, a boy under 10 years old, a lecture while writing the check.
My father may not have been bitter, but he never forgave the church.

Sounds like you've been in contact with bullies of the worst kind, the religious hypocrits. Though all bullies are bad, these kind are the worst and probably occur in all religions.
I have dealt with bullies all my life and was abused by bullying parents so I really do know how it feels. I have, however, come a long ways from it. I do not allow bullies of any kind in my private life. I am being challenged at times at finding them in other places like"on the job" so to speak or other unavoidable places. I found the best overall plan of dealing with this is to start your day affirming, first thing in the morning or whenver you wake up, is that you are about to have a wonderful day, will meet only with those who are supportive and loving to you, etc etc..fill in the blanks with whatever else you want.
This works wonders...try it and then give thanks or rather gives thanks first for the blessings will come.
All the best and remember those bullies are really the ones suffering you don't have to make them happy by joining them. Rebel by being very happy...they can't take that away from you!

The best revenge is looking good! :)

That just means you have to find a new church. I've never experienced that but my husband had bad experiences at his moms church and a lot of the members do not attend their anymore because of how the church treat people. Some people think they know the word of God but they don't.

My mother told me once that the church had asked for donations. My mother didn’t have money to give away at that point in her life. Then the priest said, Thank you to all who GAVE money today, then proceeded on the importance of being unselfish. My mother was very hurt. How could he belittle those who did not even have enough for themselves? She said that she does not blame the church, just the priest who abused his power. She even wishes him well.

I stopped going to church many years ago. Was told to leave because i was bare feet. Hippie. But yet the girl with the short shirt and her azz cheeks showing was allowed in. I told them " I'm sure god loves you." Many churchs take money from the poor to buy gold imagines of what they think god looks like and stand them in their so called house of god. And why do so many get all dolled up to go to church. Its one big fahsion statment. It makes me sick. I have the lord in my heart and thats all that matters.
