It's mostly a Western war fought against another culture by nations that are supposed to be Christian.
In the Middle East, terror is part of the everyday arsenal. We just don't understand that, because it's not part of ours.

You are a little misinformed. I go to the Mosque in my local community and have never heard anything about a christian army trying to destroy islam. Infact in the US there is seperation of church and state and people of all faiths enlist , so I don't think the army can be classified as a christian one.
Yes some Muslims do kill other Muslims, but have you ever heard of the American civil war? Christians killed christians. When you watch the news and a man is arrested for murder it does not say" Christian man kills another Christian man" so Muslims don't need this treatment either.
I think there is a war on Islam in the media yes, but the war that we have been involved in in Iraq is all about OIL and $$$$$$$$$.
Your question was good , and not at all insulting. I hope i was able to shed some light on the issue for you.
you can try 1 877 why islam from 9am to 9pm for questions about islam.

No, it's most definately NOT a Christian/Muslim thing, it's politics !! Pure and simple. The West wants the Middle East for the oil, and they will use any means possible to get it . Most Christians couldn't care less about other people's faiths ( as long as they're not hurting anyone) the days of the Crusades are well and truly over ! As far as I'm concerned, the sooner both sides realise that all these completely pointless wars and tragic loss of human life are due to politics and nothing else, the better off we will all be.
The armies of the West are there because they have been ordered to go ( it's their job ) they're not there in the name of Christ !!
I only wish that these fanatical Muslims can see that it is political not religious, they would all be better off too .

The current war on terror is just another Holy War.
President George W Bush has made it clear that he reads the Bible, prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. Very recently he referred to the USA’s war against terror as a war against Islamic Fascists. The other side, the Islamic Fascists, of course refer to G W Bush and the USA as Christian Infidel Dogs and so the Holy War of Words go on, like good Christians at war against the Axis of Evil.
The above is quite mild to all the evil religious words being thrown by each side, but of course, it doesn’t stop there does it. The same sides, Christianity and Islam, are physically at war with each other, murdering innocent men, women and children in the process.
Humanity has a horrific track record of atrocities and killing caused by religion, and this war seems to be no different, just another Holy War in the name of religion, inflicting it’s madness once again onto humanity. Religion is so evil, it has even infected the President of the United States of America.

No. It is not a Christian war against Islam. It's to do with money and power and fame and glory!!
Most TRUE Christians I know were against the war. I marched in London against the war, and was surrounded by elderly Christians who were so against it that they were marching for the first time in their lives.....as I was. The official police figure for the London march was a minimum of 700,000 and the estimate by the press etc. was over 2 million.
I just wish that the Muslim community would see that most TRUE Christians would never wish any harm on their Muslim brothers and sisters. Just as I am sure most TRUE Muslims would never wish any harm to Christians.

Do not generalize - there are good muslims and bad muslims and there are good christians and bad christians - the ones who are bad are hiding behind religion - like Bush, Blair, Bin Ladin, Saddam - they are all bad leaders that have led the World into a psychi of fear and hate - do not believe everything your governments or leaders tell you - there is too much greed in the World - money, oil and a power struggle is always going to lead PEOPLES to War. Its GREED AND NATIONALISM ABOVE ALL ELSE led by GEORGE W. BUSH AND other past GOVERNMENTS in THE USA that have created this situation over many bad years of foreign policy.

Maybe those people complained because the US came in under the banner of liberty and justice for all and then proceeded to maim, kill, rape and torture as they wished, destroying the fragile stability of the country. The American war machine just hates to spin its wheels, what good is a superpower if it can't smash countries at will eh?

No. The Iraq war is really a war between people who like painting and people who like surfing. Also, there is a small sect of people who enjoy crochet who are involved. Don't you ever watch the news?
