Do you know only 6 out of ever 100 ppl wash there hands after using the bathroom! OMG HOW GROSS!!!!

That is repulsive. I asked a question a few months back about asking someone in a public restroom to wash her hands. It was something like, "If I'm in a public restroom and I notice someone doesn't wash her hands, is it rude to mention to her that she should?" OMG...you would have thought by some of the horrible, chastising, screaming, rude responses I got that I was talking about murdering someone. It was ridiculous!
I don't remember the name of the lady who answered your question, but she said that many people think that if their hands look clean then they are. Yuck!! One guy who answered my question told me urine was sterile. LOL

I guess I dont have a problem with that if it were their homelife. When it is handling other peoples food that gets me a little concerned. I worked in a very nice restaurant, and every time a server picks up a dirty plate and brings it back to the kitchen they are supposed to wash their hands. I was like the only one who did that. And that isnt like a tenth of wrong things that goes on in a restaurant. People not washing their hands is the leading cause of many foodborne illnesses. So to me, if people dont do it at home it doesnt bother me, but if they are handing other things people eat, then it is a cause for concern. But with your statistic, is that in the United States or the world. I can believe it if it is a world statistic, because many people do not have plumbing especially in 3rd world countries.

I never walk out of a bathroom w/out washing my hands!! Just the thought grosses me out!! My kids even know, when we're out and we have to use a public bathroom they are to wash and dry there hands and get an extra paper towel to open the knob on the door.

I always wash my hands!! I bring my own soap! I have those soap leaves I got from Crabtree and Evelyn and they slip right into my purse.
I cannot FATHOM how ppl dont wash their freaking hands after they go to the bathroom...ugh...soo gross!

While that is gross, some guys have the ability to just pull there pants down and piss while standing up.....but they never touch their weiner. So I suppose they don't need to wash their hands. I can't do it, it's just what I have heard.

I wash every time and keep the paper in my hands to open the door you never know who touched handle before you. Also never use blow dryers as they suck the air from inside the bathroom and just blow dirty air onto your hands.

I am definitely 1/6. I find that hard to believe but now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn'e of shook that Guys hand earlier! YUCK!

Actually, studies were done in various US cities to compare. I am glad to say that San Francisco (where I live) scored the highest - I believe it was over 70%.
Where did you get the 6% figure from ?!?!
