well i see him everyday and i get really shy i cant even say hi to him

Look, stop being a little wuss and go up to him and say hi! Introduce yourself...guys are more shy than you know, and he may be flattered to meet your acquaintance at your gesture.

Ask him to do you some favor, works every time. I don't know the psychological background for it, but when you ask a guy to do something for you he ends up feeling like he owes you for giving him that opportunity. It's totally counterintuitive but works like a charm. If there's something you can get him to fix, like a car or computer or whatever, that's a good place to start. Best of luck to ya!

Just walk up and introduce yourself. " Hi my name is ______, and I was wondering if you are doing anything __________ date? If not Im doing __________ would you be interested in coming?"
When it comes to guys you have to just be out there. You have to fight shyness and just talk to him. THAT gets a guys attention a woman that is sure of herself enough to talk to him, but not too sure to be snobby.
