U don't have to stop ur hair cutting.U try to keep ur hair free from sweat and oil by using a good shampoo like 'Head and Shoulders' twice or thrice a week and stop worrying abt it for a while.Ur dandruff is the most likely the cause.Once u r free from dandruff u will notice reduction in hair fall.
Another reason could be ageing.u did not mention ur age. As u get older and older it is likely that one will be loosing hair.
Another reason for the hair fall could be due to Hereditary reasons.
The next possible reason is that ,the hair fall is more after prolonged illness. Look to these reasons and stop worrying.Good Luck to u.

Hi there !

Avoiding haircuts is not going to solve your problem, right ? Find the rot cause for this . Is it really dandruff or something else ? It is for a good dermatologist to make the decision !
There are very good medicated shampoos (usually prescribed by dermatologists) which are to be used twice in a week and results are assured. Hence do contact a GOOD dermatologist in your city.
Dont worry ..its temporary !

I agree with others that you should see a dermatologist. You may have seborrhea or psoriasis. My psoriasis patches on my scalp were so thick that I lost a lot of hair, then it eventually came back. I have psoriasis and am using one of the newer medications that are injected twice a week.

None of the medicated shampoos work for me. Nothing over the counter, and nothing prescribed. But, it does work for others. You could try using TGel or TSal to see if you get some clearing.

May be it is due to dandruff. Use dandruff removing shampoos. Eat vegetables for the health of your hair. Drink milk.

Did you loose lot of weight lately?
Are you having stress, sleeping late, not eating healthy?
A result of diet, stress, or bad eating habits you can loose hair as your body takes the vitamin out of your hair as last resource.
You have to sleep lot, eat good, avoid stress and you can take vitamins in a supplement with vit B. Eat also spinach and other Green vegetables. Don't comm your hair to often.

dear if you are in India then You need not to worry, because you do tend to loose hairs during rainy season. secondly use head and shoulders / cleanic all clear shampoo. IF the hair still falls then consult a doctor.
