I don't really want a mouse. And I have an outside dog and 3 cats (stray). I just want to know like if you say another dog, what type of dog. And I can't go to the doctor. It costs to much money. So I want to know the animal and what kind of animal.
****Thank you*****

Hi there...the dander is what you are referencing to and it would be ther reason why individuals with animal allergies would react negatively physically. Hairless animals also produce dander as it comes from the protein in the saliva when they groom themselves. I've enclosed a website link below from the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology that talks about different animals and how they affect allergies. Hopefully with this info you can help make a better informed decision as to which pet would be most suitable as a companion.

I don't know how you feel about rats but they are a very good pet. Fancy Rats have gotten a bad rap. They are as clean as cats and if you let them run around, they will go back to the cage to go potty. They are smart and affectionate. My kids raised them and not once was bitten as a hampster will do if startled. I found the males to be the most affectionate. Obviously, the more attention you give, the more affectionate it will be. We have had cats, dogs, guinne pigs, fish, birds, and rabbits, and I suggest. that you should go get a young male fancy rat. Have fun!

Most people who are allergic to cats are allergic to their dander/saliva. Cats groom themselves more than dogs, therefore have more saliva on their skin, so dander (dries skin that falls of) causes more allergies.
There is no true "hypo allergenic" cat or dog. Only those that have less dander.
Rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats/mice are also known for their allergy causing dander.
Some people who are allergies to furries can successfully have birds.
Personally, I have no allergies to cats/dogs/rabbits/etc but have a hard time with bird dander (makes me stuffy)

Go to the doctor and get allergy medication. My roommate is allergic to dander and she has a dog and I have two cats. She takes Zyrtec on a daily basis.
