I'm a trinidadian/indian and i went miami for holidays.
It was in the summer and i was walking into the mall when a white guy walked passed me and smiled and said you have a beautiful colour.

Was that just gay? or was he trying to be nice or something?

Cause i just stood there with a little shock.

I was like. okay! and had a really hard thinking look

Ofcourse he was trying to be nice. People dont typically smile at strangers they are trying to insult nor do they usually use the term "beautiful". Perhaps he could have been more tactfull in his presentation but don't go getting all offended over nothing. Don't go looking for trouble when there isn't any. You said it was during the holidays. That was almost a year ago. Take it as a compliment, get over it, and move on.

Why couldn't you just except the compliment for what is was or do you have ugly skin. Why did you have to make it an (gay issue). Even if the guy was gay, whats the problem with him noticing that you have a beautiful skin color? Or are you just paranoid with gay tendencies. I'm not coming down on you but men and women have told me how beautiful I am and I don't think it's a (gay issue). People appreciate beauty all around the world and don't mind saying so.

It could have been a nice gesture or more likely a come-on by a gay person. Don't worry about it and move on since nothing ever came of it.

Good Luck!!

Possibly gay, or being nice...

Who knows maybe if you got off that medication you were talking about you would be most interested in important stuff

Sounds that way. Think harder if this is what you want. I like different color women. There seems to an attraction to try different races. Some sadly are great in bed but not in the head.

That was some gay madness right there. Men don't compliment other men especially complete strangers on their color. A guy might say to another that he likes his tennis shoes or his car or his hat but not his color. That is close to him saying, "Nice pecs, can I touch?" What the h*ll?

god forbid anyone should compliment you again,......geez. would you rather him tell you you're ugly? someone gave you a compliment for heavens sake! and are you a homophobic??

don't read into it, sometimes what a person says is all that it is. just face value. and if he was gay, that doesn't necessarily mean he was coming onto you either.

He probably was gay, because straight guys just dont come to guys and compliment them, especially in public. Women can compliment women but not guys

Of course he was. Or maybe he was bi, or maybe he was a mannequin maker who thought your skin was very nice and thought he would use your skin color for one of his projects that he will soon use to put up on the wall of JC Penny's. =)
Just remember, it all depends on how you look at it.

Does sound a little bit strange... he could have just been trying to be nice though.
