Most of the time people cheat when they are looking for something they are not getting at home. Could be emotional or physical.
Gys cheat alot because they think they can't have it both ways, a women hot and crazy in the bed room who can also hold her head up and take care of her responsibilities.
certain men cheat because they are afraid to ask there women for certain actions in the bedroom. Other times men cheat because of stress and sometimes there women have let themselves go over time.
It's really all bullshit, because no one should cheat, it is disrespectful. But if someone does feel the urge to cheat, you must first look at the reasons why and what in the end you could possibly be throwing away if your partner were to find out.
It is possible to be in a relationship without cheating.
Not everyone does.

There are soooo many resons though why people choose to cheat, both men and women!!!!!!!

To be fair, I don't think this question should be why do guys cheat? but why does anyone cheat? Although I will concede their are probably more unfaithful males out their than their are females. I guess their are several answers to this:

Some have primal instincts that are more powerful than their sense of common decency.

Some have no feelings for the person they are cheating on so don't have any guilty feelings to contend with.

Some do because it reassures them that they are still attractive when they are in a "comfortable relationship".

Some do because sex with someone else is different so therefore more exciting.

Some do because they are not getting sex (or a specific sexual activity) often enough in their current relationship.

Some just have a total disregard for their partners feelings and/or hope their partner doesn't find out.

It has also been said that sex to man is a purely physical activity, in comparison to a woman who makes love (connects physically and emotionally).

I wouldn't say any of the above are condonable, but I think it answers your question. Hope it helps.

Because it is in there nature to cheat. It doesn't matter if they have a good woman at home or not, they are still going to do what they want to do. My ex husband cheated on me from the time I got with him at 16 until i left him at 33 years old and he is currently with a girlfriend and he is still trying to cheat on her with me and he is now 51 years old so a man is going to be a man.

Because they can. Or: they will if they can. I'm not trying to generalize, but EVERY boyfriend I've had has cheated on me. You could give them the most beautiful woman and they will STILL cheat. I've actually been told by a man that beautiful women are MORE likely to be cheated on. (don't know why)...
I don't REALLY know why they do it (I'm guessing it would depend on the individual) BUT - I think it's the fact that they lust women, and add that with their primative urge to impregnante as many women as possible, to spread their genes. I'm sure there are men who will disagree with me, but I believe that men do not view loyalty as women do, and they do not feel the same feelings we feel. (emotionally) Love, guilt, and all else is different for them than it is for us. After all, they are influenced by different chemicals and different amounts of chemicals. (in the brain). There could also be other reasons: boredom, revenge, a feeling of not being appreciated by their woman; ego issues; or maybe just simply LUST.

That's a bit of a generalisation, don't you think? Question should read "why do people cheat". There are lots of reasons for this, one of which could be that the grass does look greener on the other side.

The 'Modern' woman has become a hunter. She will take your husband/boyfriend. Why? Because she can. To prove she's a modern woman. I know a lot of women who will only date married men.
As already pointed out. A survey revealed just as many women cheat as men. It takes 2 to cheat.

It was recently reported that a lot of women begin to loose interest in their relationship after around 4 years.
