would you think that your brother is supposed to have the same iq as you?

IQ"s do vary from person to person, even within the same family, but it's not unbelievable that it would just happen that two siblings have the same IQ. The kid next door might have the same IQ and you would only think it a coincidence. The same applies to you and your brother.

Just a coincidence. IQ changes from test to test, and day to day. I've taken a couple of tests and had a range of over 20 points from one test to another. So if yours lands the same as his, it's probably just a coincidence.
