Maybe it was painful. Or maybe, by some misguided idea, she thought that if you didn't she couldn't get pregnant. People think some weird things about sex and pregnancy.

it might have hurt, or she had some strange idea in her mind, like stopping you from "bursting her cherry" (tear the hymen), get her pregnant or some other strnage thing. talk to her about it.

relax...probably just scared of getting pregnant...or if it was the first time...it could have hurt her....it would have felt like a tight pinch and that could have scared her...be patient
