it depends on how tall you are but be careful hunn! No crash diets plz!!!!!!! they could lead to very serious diseses. And why would you want to lose that much weight?? if you're only ten then why does it matter!? I say you eat all the cake you want! you shouldn't have to worry about this stuff untill you're around my age 14-15.

Diet! Have only 3 meals a day with light snacks inbetween. I'm not overweight or anything myself.. i am 16 years old.. 5 ft 8 and 8 stone. But I think 60-70lb is a bit much to be loosing at your age?! Maybe you should join a slimming class!

Weight watchers is a great way and plus you learn how to eat right but just cut down on snacking and that will help a little also.

Good god! You're only 10!! You're not done growing and developing (if you've even started!!!)

Counting calories is not a healthy eating habit. Understand that first and foremost. If you take the diet route now, you're going to mess up your system.

If you want to limit junk food, that's fine, but limiting calories is too extreme.

Try weight watchers. It won't restrict from alot of the foods you like and it will be able to tell you how much calorie intake you should have on a daily basis. It works pretty fast too.
