I have a problem my friend(girl) wont see me because im Sicilian... My personality and looks are great she says it just my nationality because my nationality has a reputation for being "Cut-Throats".......But she always tells me im the nicest guy shes ever met....I dont see why she wont give me a chance....(Sicily is the little island below Italy)........

She probably doesn't want to get hurt, is not interested in you in that way, or her parents don't want her to date a "sicilian.
Could be many things. Have you talked to her about other reasons why she wouldn't date you?

Do you know that Sicilians are Italian? You and you're friend are both Italian, Italy is a country formed by 20 regions, Sicily is one of them. Why do you guys always say things as ''Sicilian and Italian''?
We Italians are very fond of the region we were born, for example Italians from Trentino are Trentino-Italian, Italians from Veneto are Venetian-Italian, same goes for all 20 regions, Sicilians are Sicilian-Italian.
Your friend might consider you only a friend, this is the reason she doesn't want to date you.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with you personally. It's more prominant back whe our parents were younf but obviously it still happens today. Eventhough sicily is apart of italy, they might as well be two seperate countries. I'm half Sicilian and half german, my father immigrated from Sicily. And my relatives take great offense at being labeled italian. they are very adamant that they are sicilian and not italian and vise versa. I think it has to do with roles they played back in WWII. not quite sure. Anyway. the point is maybe her family still holds those personal views and the have been ingrained in her too.

sicilians are known for having small "members" lol na jus okin but there is this smell rumor going around, other than that if your a really nice guy than she shouldnt be picky about race, shes just looking fo an excuse to try other "races" personally i go for the british, sure they have bad teeth, but at least they got curves in the right places!!!! lol remember me? im the guy that gave you advice on the whole one nighter thing, so believe me i know what im talkin about. see ya

It probably isn't because you are Sicilian, it is probably because you are her "friend". Getting into a relationship with someone who is a good friend is a very complicated situation. She could be afraid of losing your friendship if the relationship did not work out.

It could be that she's afraid of you and your family. But, I think the true reson is that she truly doesn't like you in a romantic way. When a girl calls a guy "nice" she has spoken death words to any romantic relationship. She obviousely doesn't want to hurt you and came up with this lame reason "off the cuff". Now she feels she has to stick by it.

this is actual that maximum individuals prefer to this element of their very own race; although, this isn't any longer actual for each individual. i've got been to Italy and observed no violent Italian mean, yet in each race there are violent people. asserting all Italian adult males are violent and mean is in basic terms a stereotype.

i'm sorry to break this to you--your friend just doesn't want to date you. Just accept that--don't push her. Maybe she will come around if you accept it, not act desperate and show some self respect. No one decides to date or not date someone becasue of their nationality!

dude, It's because your sicilian! Italians don't mix with sicilians, It's taints the true Italian blood-line. If her father knew that she was dating you, she'll disown her. that's probably why!
