Your a Christian, and don't believe the WHOLE Bible? hmmm. interesting.

strange how 2 of every animals could have you so bumfuzzled and stop you from beliving, when animals on the Ark has ZERO concern of your salvation.
I would more understand, how Jesus Himself descended from the Grave, to be more of a issue than animals on a Ark. Afterall, being a Christian, you had no problem beliving in Jesus' miracles. Right?

You keep wondering and guessing about the animals. Afterall, Jesus did say: "Go forth unto all nations and preach about 2 of every kind of animals on the Ark". Right? He did say this?

Just to make matters worse...

If you read Genesis closely you will see the God told Noah to take only terrestrial animals in to the ark - in other words, those which lived above the surface of the water. No fish or other aquatic organisms.

Now, you might think that makes sense because when the waters rose the fish would be okay anyway. After all, fish don't drown, right?

Wrong.

Some fish live in freshwater and will die if they are put in sea water. Some live in seawater and will die if they are put in freshwater. So, when the waters rose how come one or the other type of fish didn't die out? The sea water would have mixed with the freshwater.

In time, when the waters receded though, there were once again freshwater fish in freshwaters and marine fish in sea water.

Then there is the question about how coldwater fish and tropical fish both managed to survive in the same mix...

Greetings,
The animals were gathered and directed by God so that after 100 years of building the Ark everything was ready for Him so that He could destroy mans wicked ways. Scince God works in ways foreign to our way of thought then there should be no doubt that God would be able to gather His created creatures when and where He desired them to be or to go. Afterall God is omnipotent and omnipresent so there is nothing that is impossible for Him to accomplish scince He is the author of creation

As far as the Pastor that you have He needs to get a grip on what He is teaching or not teaching and lead his flock in the correct way of the lord. It sounds like you should find a different pastor scince you have advanced beyond his capabilities.

a work in progress

First of all, there were far fewer types of animals back then than there are today. It would have only required two from each species to be on board of each land-dwelling animal (as aquatic species wouldn't have needed to be there). Also, if you believe in God and that God asked Noah to do this, it stands to reason that God would've sent the animals to Noah's location so he could collect them without having to travel the globe.

Scientific theories about Pangea, if true, would allow for migration of animals from one area of the earth to the other without the geographical contraints we have today. The enormous amounts of water dumped by the flood and resulting earthquakes and shifting of the earth's crust accounts for most of the land mass shifting from Pangea to our current continents.

And to those who will undoubtedly post that the flood never happened, there are flood stories from nearly every single group of people, all with striking similarities to the Bible's flood account. It also explains how fossils of sea creatures are sometimes found in mountains.

First of all, what you should do is read the story for yourself and never mind your pastor, when he responds like that. Believe me, Im a follower of Christ too and I can say that !
Did you know that everything you hear in church and anywhere else should always be compared to the Bible, especially when it involves God. So that requires you to get involved and, that you get to know the stories in the Bible and always before you read, it always a good idea to pray and ask God to show you the things that he wants you to see. Did you know that the apostle Paul said no one taught him the things of God, but that he took all his questions directly to God, so we can do this too !

each and every couple desires some issues to argue approximately. you have yours. comply with disagree on those factors. tell your husband those issues are substantial to you, yet do no longer attempt to describe why. in basic terms be business enterprise. tell him you should set aside a definite quantity of each and each month's earnings to your charitable works. Negotiate the authentic quantity, if mandatory, yet do no longer pass into opposite. Then, set up your individual particular fund for that purpose, including a similar quantity to it each and each month, and drawing from it, as mandatory. They used to call those "wet day money" or "butter 'n egg money". Make it clean to him which you will no longer exceed the agreed month-to-month quantity without discussing it with him, that it rather is honestly low priced, and which you're on no account going to allow it to get out of control. If he says no, ask him if he rather desires to make a huge situation out of a few thing so insignificant. Then, say easily no longer something, and look ahead to his reaction. If he has any experience in any respect, he will comprehend it rather is a style of issues that he can no longer in all danger win, and he will supply in. If he maintains to make a fuss, you have plenty greater extreme marital subjects with which to deal. via the way, the main substantial element of the Bible verse you stated is the section approximately husbands loving their different halves like Jesus enjoyed the church ... being keen to sacrifice each and every thing, even his very own existence, if mandatory. do no longer supply up on prayer, the two. God often makes use of the faults of one marital companion to help sanctify the different, finally blessing the two. this would take a life-time, yet what different greater substantial issues do you may do, interior the recommend time? would God bless you and your loved ones.

Actually, God told Noah to gather a male and female of each "unclean" animal; 7 each of the "clean" animals; and 7 each of the birds of the air (Gen. 7:2-3).

But look at the actual wording of the command God tells Noah at Gen. 7:2: He says Noah "shalt take to thee" (King James Version) the animals. God doesn't say "Noah, thou shalt go forth, find and gather the animals from the face of the earth;" He says "Noah, TAKE the animals." When you TAKE something, doesn't that imply someone has GIVEN it to you?

I think Scripture clarifies here that God gathered the animals and gave them to Noah, who simply loaded them into the Ark. Mystery solved!

I hope this helps. Peace and love in Jesus.

ROFLMAO
Do you know all dogs can be traced back to 2 dogs?
All cattle come from an extinct bovine.

Did you know the the closest older relative of the elephant is but 2 feet long nose to tail?

Don't be fooled, their is evolution, (not even on the scale they want you to believe)
a mammal over time can produce different relatives. So.

Now the flood may have only been local.
There is good evidence that it was only local!
