That's kind of up to your Mom, I'd say. If you love and trust Mom, accept it. 13 years is not that big of an age gap, assuming your Mom's not 29 and her dating interest, 16. 53 and 40, for example, (or 43 and 30) could well work. Give them a chance.

That would freak me out, especially because that means that that person is 13 years closer to your age. Many guys, however, relish the thought of dating an older woman, and your mom probably gets a real kick out of having a younger guy around to play with. Are there any other issues, like him being an a$$hole? Does he hit on you? If there ARE other issues, then there is DEFINITELY a problem, but that has nothing to do with his age, and you should act accordingly. Otherwise, I would recommend that you become comfortable with the age gap, because that's just how some people feel.

shall we get authentic! when you're wondering about initiating a wedding ceremony with a 7 3 hundred and sixty 5 days age hollow, be prepared. in the journey that they are older, you would possibly want to finally end up resenting his consistent older way of wondering. His music flavor will decision, His television, and then their is the growing old aspect too. What occurs once you nevertheless sense shiny and alive at say, 40 3....and they are 50 and searching like your grandfather. basically inquiries to ask your self previously you bypass ahead and marry. in my opinion my brother married his spouse and she is 12 years older than him....they're nevertheless at the same time after 17 years. My sister married a guy 15 years older than she and they have been married for 15 years. So per chance it does very last. For me, it would want to should be someone my own age.

Age is a number, are they happy? Do they enjoy each other's company? Is he older than 18? Don't worry about it, the age gap is fine for adults, for you its a plus because he will be able to relate to your problems. He can be more of a friend than anything else.

You'll get over it. I'm dating a man that's 10 yrs. younger than me and my son is very accepting of it. He'd rather see me happy with someone that makes me happy than to be alone and sad.

that's the trend these days .but to answer your question it shouldn't matter .love knows no numbers. if your mother is truly happy it shouldn't matter .you should be glad she is so happy .if it was your father with a younger woman would you feel any different ? be happy for your mother.

How close is the person to your age?
Don't worry about it. It's your mother's relationship, not yours. Pat yourself on the back that you don't have to deal with it, then skip into your real life.

age doesn't matter as long as you love someone, just think people who you date aren't always the same age as you. Try talking to your mom about it. I'm sure she will make you feel better about the situation.

grow up and let her be. She spent many many years raising you and supporting your life choices, why don't you return the favor with an open mind and be there for her like you should.
don't be the bratty kid that is always the reason for her not having or finding happiness.
