I love Mexican food but Italian is my favorite. I looooove baked pasta dishes, especially lasagna but the best I've had was "canneloni al forno" - pasta stuffed with meat and cheese and baked with tomato sauce. Mmmm... Gnocchi with vodka sauce is also delicious - I think I know what's for dinner tonight!

ITALIAN - Cioppino, an italian seafood stew, tomato and wine based with fish, clams, mussels shrimp, lobster, AWESOME!
Mexican - Chicken Poblamo, baked chicken smothered in a very complex bitter chocolate sauce, I understand the sauce requires hours of preparation to be made properly, not many places serve this dish and I haven't been able to find a recipe.

I like Mexican food but I can go and eat Italian foods for days..

I love them both. I love a good Mexican taco salad. My favorite Italian dish is some good homemade spaghetti with meatballs, a salad, some bread, and good cold ice lemonade.

I think youve asked a tough question because it makes people too hungry to answer what they normally like bast. its kinda like grocery shopping before lunch.
I love both foods so much, for mexican, i dont think it gets any better than the traditional soft shell taco, made with old el paso taco mix, some black bean rice, fresh tomatos, sour cream, fresh home made salsa, and lettuce, hot sauce and maybe some guacamole.
but for italian, its a toss up between fresh lasagne with tomatoes basil spinach and as many cheeses and mushrooms i can fit in it, or angel hair pasta with a light buttery tomato white wine garlic sauce.
But hey, for a quick fix, stopping at taco bell drive through for a soft taco supreme, on my way to the olive garden for their grilled chicken alfredo sounds awsome too!

Italian! Man, Mexican is good, though but, I would go for Italian any day!
A nice slice of thin crust, extra cheese pizza would do with a nice piece of zeppoli!

Definately mexican. My favorite dish is shredded beef tacos with spanish rice and refried beans on the side.
