My existence is unique. My soul is but a raindrop, being ever cast through the sky, until it finally reaches the sea.
My definition. Of soul. The inner reaches of your heart and mind, for this is where soul resides. The part of me that travels the skies during dreamtimes. The part of me that cries to be free, and unheeded; the small bright light behind the eyes. Hmmm.
*Your soul defines you less than what your existence has done to it.
Blessed Be.

Jim how are you doing today? I pray you are doing well, but lets get this question that you have asked. First lets get an understanding ther are three realms spiritual, soul, and the flesh. You are particially correct your soul does define the flesh, but our quest is to conquer the spiritual. Once we and human beings grasp the understanding that once we get intune with our spiritul being there is nothing between Heaven and Earth that we are not in control of. Mean that your soul will become submissive to your spirit and the CHRIST in you will define you.

There is no such thing as a "soul" in the biblical sense. So I have no soul. So I guess I cannot be defined. The abstract idea of a soul however probably contains elements of conscience, personality, character, etc. and so it will most certainly will die when I die.

I think that defining the soul as what makes a person unique is completely backwards. To the extent that a person has a basic essence, that essence is oneness with the divine, nothing to do with individuality.

Do I really have a "soul"? Or is it just energy? Are we so intelligent to think we have a soul? Or are we so ignorant to think we have a soul?

What is your definition of a "soul"? Then maybe I can answer you better.

Well, if a soul exists, it's the conglomeration of all of our personal experiences, and how we reacted to them and learned from them. So, the definition of "me" as I am today, is the result of everything I've experienced up to this point.

The soul in the Bible refers to the entire individual not something immortal inside us. So then, as a soul, yes I am unique, and all my traits define me. My Christian teachings are Love of God and my neighbor as myself, caring for others and helping to guide them to the truth, Loving my family and respecting my wife as my companion and helper for all eternity, Do unto others as I would want them to do unto me. Pray others would find this truth.

I believe my soul is another name for my conscience. After all,the conscience defines who you are(character). It's that inner voice that tell us right from wrong. Some say(and I believe them),that it's the voice of good and evil. Our souls are constantly being tested by both God and Satan.
Peace...

If you believe in a soul it's faith based.
There's no physical proof of a soul nor has a soul ever been scientifically recorded.

An object cannot be mass-free and physical, it cannot react with energy without having energy and mass is just condensed energy. In order to react with the brain it must have mass, but in order to be invisible it must be mass free. In order to be undamagable it needs to be mass free, but in order to see it requires photoreceptors and energy measuring devices which need to interact with the physical world.
