Aky is wrong about fats in white rice. Low in fat (unless you put butter on it) and yes, it is a carb. I eat rice instead of potatoes because potatoes are a night shade plant and can cause joint pain (among other things). I prefer brown rice over white for the same reason I will chose whole grain bread over white bread.

Brown rice is better. Its less processed than white rice and its not bleached. It tastes good but it might take a little while to get use to if you never had it before

No.

It has been bleached. Any bleached food is not a good idea.

2 things to consider:
Eat something that is the original color.
And rice is a starch which takes longer to burn through - concerning burning energy

No, its full of carbs and rice really has no nutritional value. You could try whole grain rice but still only have it on a limited basis.

I do believe everything in moderation is OK, but basically it should be avoided and brown rice would be a much better choice.

No. It's refined and turns to sugar and then fat rather quickly. Brown rice is a better bet.
