I do not follow a religion, I follow Jesus Christ. I do it because He proved to me that He was real. I ran from Him for 40 years and came to a place where there was nowhare else to turn and He didn't turn away, He saved me and I have a new life today. Praise God

I don't follow any religion and no one influenced me. I was raised Christian, but started studying the natural world on my own as a teenager because it interested me. What I learned caused me to start wondering if there was a creator at all and eventually I came down on the side of atheism. But I did it on my own while everyone else around me was trying to influence me in the other direction.

The only thing I have let me influence me into my "religion" is the Bible and prayer. And I believe thats how it should be no matter what "religion" or faith you come to practice. My resioning behind this is that there are so many churchs and pastors out there for nothing more than the alimighty dollar.

I was born into my religion, and although I respect my heritage and keep the basic traditions, I question a lot of what I've been taught . . I believe that no religion is superior to another and if anything we need to preach tolerance for other people's choices and differences

The biggest influence is my deities and looking for ways to please them. My religion gives me the structure and ways to worship my deities and develop a closer relationship with them. It allows me to meet with others of a like mind, to understand the world around me and my place in it, it gives me guidelines to live by, and provides inner peace and fulfillment. It works for me. YMMV
