Okay, what made Satan such a beautiful angel?

The Lord God just made him that way. When he wanted to be God, The Lord God made him the ugliest of the ugly.

I always thought of this as the best punishment, because what is worse than death for someone so vain? To suddenly lose all of their beauty that they so cherished.
God had to do something worse than death, because angels have eternal life already. They are already heavenly beings.

That's a very easy one! You should've
figured it out yourself if you've read
your bible and really understood it.
Lucifer.. was the Angel of beauty!
Sorry I don't have my concordance
with me at this time! Ask for one
from The Shepherds Church Chapel!
Oh some people think Lucifier was
the Angel of Luck and that's
why there's so much badluck
nowadays.. I disagree with them
however! Lose was originally
spelled Luce but many pronounced
that as Loose. Webster changed
the words! Other dictionarys chose
to follow suit! Well God obviously
didn't want The Angel of Beauty to
be Ugly. Unfortunately Lucifer was
said to have thought..' Beauty
should make me God.. why should
I play 2nd fiddle as the #1 Angel?'
God didn't think his number 1
would disobey but as we all
know that's exactly what happened!
That's what happens when you
fail to think something goes wrong!

There are scriptures alluding to Satan's state prior to becoming the Devil. It is thought that he was a high-ranking, powerful spirit creature, possibly a Seraph or Cherub. This "beauty" may have been a contributing factor in his growing selfish and vain and seeking the worship that rightfully belongs to God.

Satan was not created evil, as some believe, but exercised his free-will in a wrong way. He not only challenged God's right to rule the universe, but also challenged mankind's motives for worshiping Him. God has allowed that challenge to be tested over the past few thousand years, giving man a chance to rule himself under every form of government imaginable. But Jeremiah 10:23 has proved true time and again: "O Jehovah, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." (American Standard Version)

Now that the challenge has been answered, God will soon step in to remove wickedness from the earth. Anyone in future who is stupid and arrogant enough to challenge God's sovreignty can be removed immediately, since the point has already been proven.

PH Lucifer was an angel infact he was Gods number one angel so to speak. Angels differ from humans because they are not given free will as we are. Lucifer went against Gods will and was punished we can go against Gods will and not be punished becuase we were given free will.

As for the initial quistion Im not really sure why he was concidered so beautiful. But if God said he was then he was.

He led the worship in Heaven. He was called the covering Cherub, he was always in God's presents, thus his beauty, add that Angles are not ugly.

Read the description of his physical appearance, he's made like a musical instrument.

Lucifer was/is very well suited for music.

The word Lucifer (translated morning star) is only used in the Bible once, and it's use to refer to Jesus (rev 22:16). The whole idea you are referring to is from John Milton's "Paradise Lost" and has nothing to do with any Christian theology.

Because Lucifer was a god in a rival religion before "mythic defamation" made him a figure of supernatural evil in Christianity.

This is not the only time another religion's god became someone's devil. Astaroth (once Astarte), Beelzebub (once the many Baals), etc., were all once gods of other sects with whom the Levitic-Mosaic Hebrew faith competed.
