Lack of concentration on their surroundings. It kills or injures hundreds of people every year.

2. They're not paying attention
I see all the time people will eye the driver then walk out in front of him and ignore him. They think that once eye contact has been made the driver is less likely to run them down. Other people just bolt in front, sometimes without knowing what is in the blind spot behind the bus (maybe another vehicle).
I say if you're not crossing at a corner then you're fair game.

They're probably just trying to get their own back on all the buses that pull/force their way out without indicating!!!

some ppl are in to much of a hurry these days & they don't realize that it could be the death of them, just like in parking lots ppl walk behind cars & trucks that are backing out and they act like they just don't care if they cause someone to hit them.

Hey, I love walking in fromnt of a car in the last second...I know just when to go and the works....so I never get hit....It is an awsome thrill!
