Lee Strobel was an atheist. He studied evolution, realized it was wrong (not to mention impossible) and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He has written several books such as the "Case for a Creator"

My husband has read all his books. I think they are great. And to think, he started all this to prove his wife's Christians beliefs wrong.

I've read three of Strobel's "case for" books: Case for Christ, Case for Faith, and Case for a Creator. He did raise some interesting questions, but most of his questions seemed phrased specifically to produce a certain answer. His books are very one-sided, offering little to no insight into his atheist beginnings. As an atheist myself I was looking to learn a bit about Christian thinking and I suppose that I did, but I remain unconvinced.

I wonder if you have heard of Dan Barker .. who used to be a preacher for 19 years and broke off the shackles of religion and now is a very outspoken atheist?

Some foolish man who couldn't stay quiet about his socalled revelations. Science should not be used for an irrational cause. Disproving evolution does not prove god is real except those who imagine......Control is mind.

i read that book, pretty much everything he taLked about has a scientific expLanation, that book reaLLy heLped me stop being a Christian. the part about proving that the mind was separate from the brain actuaLLy gave more evidence against it's own argument.

Josh McDowell is an author/lawyer who set out to disprove Christianity with fact and ended up converted.
"Evidence that demands a verdict" is a great book.
