overcoming a broken heart is the hardest thing to do, what work for me it that, keeping yourself occupied most of the time so that you do not have any idle time to think about her.

First off, I'll tell u this, when girls dump, we LIKE to know we got to u, or have the upperhand. So if u are still calling her, etc, ur just giving her something to tell her friends.
OK, now to get over a broken heart, KEEP BUSY, BUSY,BUSY, dont be moping around the house, this will only make u sadder. Get into something, ANYTHING. When females have just dumped a guy and he is no where to be found, or is busy with "important" things to do, we feel u are important, and this makes us wonder did we make the right decision dumping u or not. This will take time, but cry, scream, write in a journal, whatever, but do not feel bad for being dumped, instead give her what she asked for, dont wait for her calls, Round up ur buddies, go out and have a ball........................!!! Girlfriend, Smerfriend, PARTY!!!!

Stay away from women for a while. Rebound relationships never work out. Go out with your friends a lot. Do something fun. Even if you can't enjoy it as much as you have in the past. The more you do, the better you will feel.

First off, I'm sorry for your pain. There really isn't anything you can do but let it go. Move on at your own pace. I wouldn't suggest going out with anyone else at this time because usually it's with someone who's totally wrong for you and you'll get hurt again, or you'll end up hurting her. Give yourself time that's what it's going to take. Realize your pain, allow it to run it's course and then you'll be able to move on without any emotional baggage from your ex. I'm sorry you are hurting. I hate to see post from men like this because it really makes me sad. :( Good luck to you!

Take on an active hobby. For me it was the gym and basketball. Pretty much went every other day until I got over her. You will eventually get someone else, but occupying your mind consistently is usually the best solution.

i feel for you, unfortunately i dont know if there is a cure all for a broken heart, its so cliche to say that "time heals all wounds" but it is the only thing that makes sense. It hurts like hell now, but eventually it does get easiet, just try to keep busy so you dont have to think about it as much

It takes time to get over someone, especially if you loved tha person. Take it one day at a time. Don't start dating because no female likes to be the rebound girl. If you do date, date casually at first. But it take time to heal all wounds.

Remember that the fact that she dumped you doesn't mean she's better than you in any way. It just means that there is a better girl for you out there and she was just doing you the favor of persuading you to look for the better girl.

work on your hobbies and if you dont have any, find a new one. It's true, time heals, but I know that doesnt help now. Work out, exercise, get outside. Do the things you like best. It gets better.
