do you ever feel stifled by the thought/feeling that there is nothing for you to do but live?

i mean a feeling that there is "no other go" or "no choice" but to live- and that living is the only thing that can be done or experienced. is there a psychiatrical name for this sort of feeling? is it a common case?

It is frightening and I don't know how to get out of it....so on with the vicious cycle.
