I'd rather raise them to be Jesus' freaks and discover it's all false than to raise them Godless to discover it's all true.

First of all, believing in God and Jesus does not make you a Jesus freak. We will never discover that it is all false but it is true. Why does it bother you people so much that we believe in God? In what way are we hurting you? Why don't you find another outlet and get a clue!!!!

I would tell my children, I made the best decision I could with the information I had at the time and I'm sorry if I was wrong.

Charlie, if my beliefs are wrong and you are right when I die and there is no afterlife, that's okay, I lived this life being a person who loved her fellow humans and tried to rise above adverse circumstances.

That being said however, if I am right and you are wrong, you will stand before God and have to explain your unbelief to Him.

Saw an interview with a Vegas Odds-maker on TV one time and he said, even he would bet for Christ, not against him.

Science can only prove things do NOT exist, they cannot prove things do exist.

Thanks for the question.

There is no way you can prove Jesus did or didn't exist, so there will be no way to find out 'it's all false.'

It's up to individuals to raise their children with whatever beliefs they want. When they are old enough, the children will choose to accept or reject what they have been taught.

I know quite a few people who have raised to be one religion, but then turn their back on it when they are old enough. One of them was a very faithful Hindu when I knew her.

Then I've raised them to be good, moral people who treat others with kindness. What's so bad about that? Besides, it's a moot point, because I KNOW it's not false.

Probably the same way we would if either of us raised five kids to be atheists, and then discovered we were wrong.

That's not possible. How do I know? Because I have faith. Faith in the Lord and Faith in what the Bible tells us. I hope you find God soon.
