For those of you who still haven't read about this speculation, here's a link to a recent story: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/viewstory.asp?Page=/ForeignBureaus/archive/200608/INT20060821a.html
The Bible is a bit ambiguous about this, although it certainly doesn't mention August 22nd.
Consider for a moment Ezekiel 38/39, which will happen very, very soon. These prophesies concern the invasion of Israel by a coalition of Muslim nations (such as Iran, Libya, Egypt, Turkey, etc.) lead by Russia. Eze. 38 tells us what causes the invasion, but Eze. 39 tells us the aftermath (read the prophecy for gory details) and Israel's efforts to clean up the mess:
9 “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years. 10 They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them,” says the Lord GOD.
Food for thought: why would Israel be burning wood for fuel prior to this invasion, since it has electricity? What caused Israel's 7-year inability to access electricity or other power sources?
There is a type of nuclear bomb (can't remember the name just now) that renders electrical transmissions impossible: no power plants, cars, heat, etc. will run. Is it possible Iran would explode such a bomb over Israel? Is this what God refers to in this prophecy? Is this the reason why the invaders must ride horses (since tanks, cars, ect. won't work), as referenced earlier in the prophecy?
Only time will tell. Other than this, prophecy seems clear that God will not permit a more devastating attack on His chosen people in these end times ... until the Battle of Har-Megiddo (Armageddon).

They stated so on sixth June 2006 also (06-06-06). And not something undesirable occurred on that day both fortunately. So be cool, we will meet back on 9th August! See you on Y!A on 9th August back. Take look after now. And certain, do not forget to benefit from the outlet ceremony of Olympics because it truly is per chance going to be a dinner party for the eyes.

What is supposed to happen on that date.. DO you think Hezbollah terrorists will fire missles from within the borders of another country? Or that some insane Muslim terrorist will blow himself up to kill a few women and children?

Nothing more than the usual...rockets getting fired over their borders, suicide bombers on their buses...just another day in Israel.
Seriously...what do you think is going to happen?
