I wonder if its really called hopping the fence .. coz i know a lot of girls who do it and u will be surprised how many hops just stay in the family .. i dont know why but i think girls feel more comfortable and tend to do it more ..

I'm straight, and I've done it a couple of times. I think the difference between being bi and being straight (while still fence hopping) is that if you're bi, you are attracted to both sexes. if your an occasional fence hopper, you are attracted to guys, but theres that one girl who you picture every now and then....
I think its perfectly normal! (and fun)

I wouldn't call it normal... if you are "hopping the fence" more than once then you are bi-sexual. Nothing wrong with that but you aren't truly "straight" if you pursue relationships, either physical or mental with women. If you enjoy being with men and woman then you are bi.

Well it fits the definition of bisexual (someone who sexually likes both sexes) not straight (someone who sexually likes only the opposite sex) and though you will encounter close minded people out there THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING BISEXUAL. So go have fun and be safe, and if anyone gives you trouble just remember-they have to live like that and you get to have fun- smile and wave....
