I had to deal with this. First, contact the big three credit bureaus and put a fraud alert on your SSN, that way if anyone tries to take out a loan or credit card in your name, they have to contact you. Also report it to the police and Social Security Administration. PRESS CHARGES!!! You also need to get a hold of your bank and get a copy of your credit report. You'll need it in case they opened a bill in your name.
My ex-wife tried to do this to me and I had to end up pressing charges. I've also had friends that went through this as well.

Report any theft of S.S.# to the social security administration. Then file a report with your local police. Check to make sure that your identity is not being used to secure loans etc. By checking your credit report. Be sure to contact all agencies to inform them of the theft. D.L., SS, Bank accounts, stocks, and all other areas with personal information. Change all passwords to all protected accounts, Bank, Bill paying over Internet, email. Most importantly don't ever leave personal and sensitive information where anyone can get it. Invest in a small safe or safety deposit box. Good luck!

File a police report immediately of identity theft. Then contact the credit bureaus equifax, experian, and transunion and do a fraud affidavit to block your credit report. The most important thing is to file the police report so you will not be held accountable for what they do with your information.

just call the police and rat them out, they should take care of it... you'll get a private detective and a court hearing and if found guilty, they're going to jail for a while!
