I was getting tired of my boss's attitude toward me, so I thought I'd sign her up for anonymous scientology mail, you know, a little harmless revenge. The only problem is that I used a payphone to call a scientology organization and left a message, leaving her address. I didn't even disguise my voice! So the next day, I left them another and tried to play it off like I gave them the wrong one and BSed another home address. Now, I'm worried that she'll call up the place and ask why she's getting all the scientology mail, they'll play back the message I gave them, she'll recognize my voice and fire me. Seriously, what do you think will happen? I know I shouldn't have done that, but she's done some pretty messed up things to me..

HAHAHAHAHA

Don't worry about it. Even if they do replay the message for her, which I doubt they will, the voice of the phone on the recorder will sound different, and then she'd have to figure out it was you.

You're pretty safe. Great prank. You're an inspiration to others.

Shamefully, I considered this before too, but was worried they might actually buy into their cult mind control trappings, so didn't - no matter what any one has done they don't deserve to be trapped by scientology.

Infact they are unlikely to respond at all to her requests to come of the mailing list for anything up to 8 years, if ever!!!!

So seriously, I think she will get really peeved with them, but they won't give a damn or play a message back to her, just give the time and date of the call maybe,

Oh I probably shouldn't do this but next time, don't phone use a computer at an internet cafe or library and use this website:
http://www.scientology.org/oca.htm

Fill in the form with their details, do the test, voila, no chance of a voice recording...

get yourself one of these spoofcards next time. you get to pick the number that shows up on caller id and they will change your voice for you. almost no effort on your part. and only 17 cents a minute. call the 800 number from a payphone and you are untracable except from the company bc they may keep track of who bought card x. but she probably wouldnt be able to track it that far.

Some young Scientology person answers the phones there and they took your message and sent your boss a bunch of junk and erased your message.

Well what if your boss is in a cult? Now how are you going to deal with her if she stops taking her meds and joins the cult? This may be the end for you. If she stops taking her antipsychotics and joins scientology she may be a total mess.

That's hilarious! Sign her up for Amway too!

Just deny it if she accuses you. If she is that annoying and not nice to you, then she probably is to other ppl too, so maybe she will not know which person did it to her :-)

If you start feeling guilty, try do something good for other ppl like donate to the local homeless shelter or something. I wouldn't ever admit to her you did it, she can't prove it, just forgive yourself and move on. Don't worry about it another minute!

O M G.....that is HILARIOUS! Good for you! You're probably now just feeling the guilts, but considering my own personal feeling toward that cult, I think it's one of the funniest things I've heard all day!

It's not likely that they will keep the message. They have probably erased it already.

Next time I suggest you think about the consequences before you take action.
