You need to check your weight against your height, but as with other answers remember at this time in your life you will have a little puppy fat! Concentrate on finding a sport you like, or even trying to walk as much as possible, its cheap and free.... and good for the environment. Please don't get into the cycle of dieting and food obsession. Not sure if you are allowed to stay up and watch the channel 4 program.... do I look good naked! Finally a show that shows real women and not the airbrushed models and stars that appear in magazines. I think it is due back on air later in the year. Drink plenty of water, you know the stuff about healthy foods, and December is definitely the best month for a birthday!!!

Your age really does not have anything to do with your perfect weight when you no longer are an infant.

As you age your weight is compared to your height.

94 pounds sounds like a good weight if you are around 5' or shorter.

I'm 5' 6" and I am supposed to weigh between 135 - 150 pounds. So 94 pounds is still a great weight.

Absolutely not! My daughter just turned 11 and she is also 94 pounds. About a month ago she had a dr. appointment, and the dr. said that she was totally normal - not too skinny, not too fat, which is a good place to be!!! As long as you feel good, get enough physical activity, and eat (mostly) foods that are good for you, you are fine!!! You are way too young to be worrying about things like your weight! I was 138 pounds when I was in 8th grade - I was this BIG girl! 5'8" and I felt huge and fat, but you know what, our bodies have a way of being where they are supposed to be as long as we take care of ourselves. Now, I'm 5'10", still weigh about 140, and basically, as long as I FEEL good and strong and happy and healthy, I don't worry about it, and neither should you!

No I am 13 and weigh 120 and are 5'4"....look don't worry about your weight, it is not important...if you are always worried about your weight you are not going to have fun being a kid and a teen when you get that old...
I have a friend who is 14 and is i guess u could say small for her age (i'm not sure what her exact weight is but she is like 5'2") butt, anyways she thinks she doesn't have a butt and that is what she always cares about....nobody cares if she has a big butt or not but since she thinks wieght and size is very important that what she thinks about all the time and all she is doing is hurting herself.....
ok what i was trying to tell u w/ that little story is that everyone comes in diffrent shapes and sizes and everybody hits puberty at diffrent times (puberty effects your weight and height) so it doesn't really matter if you r a couple pounds over the average weight limit for the country....just be yourself and be happy who you are

But if you are still worried about if you are over weight, check out these sights

NO NO NO! I have a 12 year old daughter (will be 13 in January) and she weighs 130. Your weight has very little to do with your age and more to do with your height and the size of your frame (your bones).

Everybody comes in different sizes and shapes. If you aren't having to buy your clothes in the plus size department, you are probably fine. Remember, your body is developing right now. Your hips and your breasts are formed from fat cells.

If you are concerned about your weight, talk to your Mom or your doctor. They can set you straight as to how much you should weigh. In the mean time, enjoy being 11 and all that has to offer.

Best of luck to you.

I was 94 pounds at 11 years old too! I thought I was so fat, but then I found out my cousin who I thought was superskinny and 11 too was 96 pounds! So that made me feel a lot better. And now I'm a model!

Never.

At the age of 12 I was 5'4" and 110 pounds. I thought I was huge.

Guess what? You're fine. Don't worry about it at this point in your life. The age of dieters keeps on dropping. I blame Hollywood--you don't need to be thin to be popular.

Honey, the only one that can really tell you that is your pedatrician. Ask your parents if you can see your doctor because you are worried about your weight.
Depending on the way your body is growing and shaped you could be anywhere from too skinny to overweight.

Your doctor will be able to measure you and tell you what you should weigh and help you get to your best weight.

Don't let anybody pressure you. There are too many girls that think they are fat and they are not. Wouldn't it be horrible to feel bad about yourself for years just because you feel fat and you might not be?

My daughter is 8 and weights a little over 80 pounds. She is tall and slender. Age and weight aren't necessarily related it is the ratio between weight and height that matters. If you are not sure use a BMI calculator to figure it out.
