Burning a picture of Jesus? Depends on why I was doing it.
If I was doing it out of disrespect or hatred, then yes, I would feel weird. (Then again, if I was meaning to be that disrespectful or hateful, I guess "feeling weird" wouldn't come into it.)
But if the picture was getting old and faded and needed to be "retired," then perhaps burning it would be a good thing -- better than throwing it in the garbage, where it would be mixed in with God knows what else.
And it's just a picture of what we think Jesus might have looked like -- it isn't actually Him.
So, as long as your intentions weren't bad, I don't think He'd mind.

Burning a picture of Jesus would feel like burning my own self. I went to a Christian school as a child, and they had this psychological test one day in class that measured how much worth we put on certain objects. We were told to cut a piece of paper, and treat it as an animate object. First, we were told it was a spider, so naturally, a lot of us stomped up and down on the paper. As we were doing that, the teacher changed the word from "spider" to "Jesus," and we all naturally stopped. It was almost as if Jesus had been personified through this little piece of paper. How could we possibly step on our precious Jesus. As far as burning His picture is concerned, whoever would even think of such a thing needs to repent of his sins and come to Jesus. Jesus has His arms wide open for anyone who is willing to listen.

I wouldn't feel weird burning a picture of Apollo or Ra or Mohammad.
Those aren't my beliefs.
I would however never burn a picture of Jesus.

it wouldnt seem completely right to me, but i find symbolism less offensive than making a direct attack on another person's beliefs or religion; telling them they will burn in hell, etc.
i also find it particularly shocking that the people who would not burn a picture of jesus would not do the same for mohammad, ra, apollo, etc. it shows a lack of decency, respect, and tolerance towards others. i pray for you.

I had to burn a picture of Jesus when I was inducted into la cosa nostra. You should have asked which is worse: burning a picture of Jesus or burning a US flag.

No, I wouldn't feel weird. For those who would, they aren't actually pictures of Jesus anyway. They're pictures of Bacchus.
