It sounds like you are trying to copy a DVD that has about 2gb of data on it. If you do not have two DVD drives (one to read, and one to copy, which would do an on-the-fly copy) then you NEED to have the space available on your computer for it to copy the files to prior to burning.

You can try deleting temp internet files, etc... and any other things you have like MP3's etc you may want to go ahead and burn to a disc anyway since it sounds like you are starting to run into storage space issues...

Or buy another larger hard drive.

Information and musicdude200 are both correct. ****You need more hard drive space. ****

Either cleanup you HD or buy and install a second one. I built a 250GB external HD for under USD$100 last month. It connects via USB port.

Also I use Ccleaner, a free HD cleanup program from ccleaner.com. Of course defrag your HD after cleaning.

Depending on the type your 2GB file(s) is/are, you might be able to compress so it fits on a single 700MB CD. But that is so very much work, (even if it can be done) that I recommend getting a DVD burner and burning to DVD.

Bottom Line: To copy 2 GB you will need over 2GB HD free space no matter if you burn CDs or DVDs.

you can't put 2 GB on to a CD!
If you are that short of space I suggest you buy an external hard drive and move a lot of your 'stuff' to it.
That is the cheapest and easiest way out.
Other options are:
#1Buy a new larger hard drive. (cost more than an external and requires installation plus moving all your files and installing the O.S. again. NOT a good option.
#2 send as many files to yourself as you can on a web account. (yahoo) then you can delete them from your hard drive to get more space.
#3 Burn a lot of files to CD, then delete them from your puter.
Best option in my opinion is to get an external hard drive. They just plug into a USB port to install. You will always have it even if you get a new puter. This is a great way to transfer your 'stuff' from old puter to a new puter.

You cant run a program off of a CD. The data processing rate is too slow. The only thing you can do is buy a larger hard drive.

No, including added RAM will strengthen your project to a level yet you'll see no authentic progression in playback. the computer basically does no longer have the Cehones for the job. sturdy spec for a video modifying equipment Vista or Win 7, 64bit CPU - twin center w/hyperthreading or Quad center. RAM - minimum 4GB optimally 6GB Clock % - 2.9Ghz minimum GPU - you want a real looking GPU with 1GB RAM

If you have another bay in your computer where you could install another hard drive, get a bigger one, they are fairly cheap, and copy everything on to it, and then you can get rid of a lot of the stuff on your first drive that is duplicated, or keep it all as a backup. Check these sites for prices:
