yup it sure would mean that. and you cant really prove if he was false or not either, in the bible it says there will be many false prophets, and they will create miracles as well. hope the christians are right in believing he wasnt false

No one at the time thought he was. The Jews today still consider him a "prophet" although according to their own logic, if he is a prophet, then one would have to believe what he himself said about himself and then they would have to accept his as the son of God, or else he would be a false prophet, which they don't believe and there is no proof that he was....

Almost a zen riddle...

first all, spell prophet right

second, he prob was. constantine banished all documentation showing jesus as a mortal human so that he would appear devine. if he proved jesus devine, he wouldnt be overthrown by a christian ruler, since he was pagan and christianity had become so powerful. jesus very well could have been just a very good man. nonetheless, a MAN.

Jesus was not a false prophet. But he wasn't the only prophet either. There is no hell or sin, that concept was invented by man. Not God.

With all the debate and inner conflicts that would have come to the surface a long time ago. Jesus and the Bible have stood the test of Time and criticisms.

Fortunately Jesus is confirmed by God, man, and the Holy Spirit, and is well known to be a fulfiller of prohecy, a fulfiller of the law, a bringer of a new covenant, and a speaker of prophecy which has in fact all been fulfilled up until now.

So since these truths exist, what will become of you?

anyone who teaches and preaches peace and harmony in this world is in my eyes a prophet anyway .. people who share inspired thoughts and ideas , as i truly believe that this type of information is from a higher power
so OK I'm not seeing Jesus here as the biblical son of god type prophet ... that doesn't mean i don't believe he was
but what i am saying is that i feel no one is false if they speak works of love and peace ...
so nothing lost for me if that was the case

According to the Christian belief, Christ is not a prophet, but Part of the Trinity, therefore he is God.

If you believe that he was a false prophet, then you'd be Jewish or of another faith that is not Christian or Muslim.

I do not know what it would mean except I would have still lived a pleasant and useful life. I would have no regrets.
