i've never been on a cruise however I don't think it matters your choice of travel and relaxation you should always becareful because you never can tell. i recommend you don't bring really expensive jewelry or valuables, you want to be at leisure on your getaway not thinking about your belongings. If you decide to do so anyway just a heads up on a cruise everyone is usually on board the majority of the time so you can always have the rooms searched, but honestly do you want to let something avoidable to upset you?! Enjoy your trip and I say pack lightly :)

No, I never have. You need to take precautions there just like you would anytime you're traveling. Keep your valuables in the safe and lock your cabin door. Be aware of your surroundings. Good, common sense goes a long way.

I'm assuming you mean anything besides the lounge chair near the pool I had put my towel on as if to reserve it for later use during the day? No.

No because I kept all my expensive stuff in a safety deposit box on the ship.. They should be available on yours.
