Hi!

Do you mean as a passenger on a commercial airline? They say that you have a better chance of being in a car crash than you do of being in a plane crash. You have a 1-in-100 of dying in a car crash vs 1-in-20,000 of dying in an air travel accident.

Actually, it is quite low, less than being in a car crash. Could it be you are claustrophobic? A lot of people are and don't realize it until they are on a plane.

You are with a lot of strangers, in a small place, in teeny-tiny seats without a lot of legroom. Sometimes served food that is in small quantifies and given instructions for what to do in a crash.

Imagine what that would do to the car companies, trains, buses, taxis, boat cruises and so on if they had to go through the procedure of what to do in the event of a crash or sinking every single time they took on passengers?

I think that is one of the reasons people are uncomfortable with air travel. They are constantly reminded of their mortality.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

As someone mentioned above... not very likely. You are far more likely to die from a car crash or some other cause than in an airplane crash. There are better things to worry about
