That's an old myth about ppl having seizures. It's physically impossible and can't happen.

And no, Ohms, I didn't forget about seizures or epileptics. I worked with them for years and it is physically impossible to SWALLOW your tongue. It can block the airway, yes, but it's physically impossible to swallow your tongue. If someone is having a seizure, you turn them on their side so that doesn't happen. If you stick something in their mouth, like ppl used to think, you can injure them or yourself.

You cannot swallow your tongue. It can however block your airway when you are unconscious .This is what most people refer to as "swallowing your tongue".
