SIGN IN A STORE WINDOW
"WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1,000 AL-QAEDA TERRORISTS
THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN"
This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia .
You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement.
One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be
marching on this business ... and that the National Guard might have to be called
to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be
tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement . .
We are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. And
after all, it is just a sign. You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?

to 'skater dudette" The sign said "I'D rather do business with 1000 alqaida terrorists,than ONE American!!! It was posted on a FUNERAL home!!! In other words,the guy would rather be burying 1000 of our ENEMY than any of US!!!

You had me there for a moment. Im from philadelphia and was almost sickened by it until i got to the end, and im in the army, currently in iraq. That was good my friend. Whew, i was mad!

Our governement has been too lax in everyway. It is amazing to be that Bush is such a hawk when it comes to war, but such a dove when it comes to our borders. I am sure I am much older than you, and I can tell you, 30 years ago, those people with that sign, which I consider treasonous would have been run out of town. If people don't quit fretting about being politically correct, we will lose this country. Freedom of speech does not include everything.

its sick using the war on terror, and the publics fears and sensibillities; to gain more business! why shouldnt they since the government (GWB) put themselves in power the same way
