Any time you apply for a credit card and are approved it will show up on your credit report as having a card. It's not a negative thing. Credit cards, when used properly, can actually help you establish good credit. It's when you stop paying your bills that you will get negative "dings" on your credit report. I used to have the Blue card too and loved it. It's a great card. Keep it and take good care of it and don't abuse it. I'm not paying off credit cards with my husband so we can someday get a house. Pay off your credit card every month and you'll be fine.

Since there is no such thing as "credit berrows," you're in luck. As far as credit bureuas, all credit card activity gets reported BUT if you move to another country, you start at zero again. Stupidly, the credit card companies do not have a worldwide database tracking people.

No fees only means the card costs you nothing. If you're one of these total doofuses who only pays the minimum balance and not the monthly balance in full, they'll add their ridiculous interest charges. of course!

Yes. Any extension of credit for which you have applied will show up on your credit report.

The fact there's no fees just means that you don't have to pay anything annually to AmEx. AmEx is still extending you a line of credit by issuing the card, which means that it will be reported to experian, transunion, and equifax.

They definitely will report you to the credit bureau's and if your good with it, you will be able to improve your credit rating and maintain a good score. Amex is a hard card to get for some and tend to have some clout on your credit score.
