I am not a god believer nor am I god disbeliever. People do make bitter remarks because they feel like their beliefs are not taken with an open mind. I have read some bitter remarks from both sides because they are trying to defend themselves or are just getting tired of being morally attacked. Live and let live. Agree to disagree. It doesn't work for those that believe they are the only ones that know the answer. Truth is, no one KNOWS the truth, it is all merely belief.

There are people here in Yahoo!Answers claiming to be atheists and others claiming to be Christians who appear to have nothing useful to contribute in the way either of useful questions or useful answers. It appears they spend much of their time provoking each other just for the pleasure of knowing they are a pain in someone else's ***. Since it's all about the aggravation, it renders this forum pretty much useless. Meaningful dialogue is something that one isn't going to find here. Not given the arrogance, prejudice, and general stupidity of all involved. Clearly, atheists, while they may have a more realistic understanding of the world in which they live, are just as capable as Christians when it comes to shooting off their mouths just to see who will bite. But bitterness? Whoever said that was either mistaken or just too inarticulate to make a more accurate word selection.

I don't think atheist are bitter. I know atheist have bad impressions of Christians and vice versa. While we may not have the same beliefs, we should respect each other and love one another. While atheist may not believe in God, I know you all believe in love and respect just like we do, so lets draw on the good things and not the bad. I think the problem exists when either side tries to force their beliefs on the other. Again, we must respect each other.

ahh yet you don't get it. You "look" intellegent yet are down top ignorent. For the certainty that the perception in god isn't in accordance with seeing or "information" yet based on the bible. If there became into respected information then each physique might might desire to have self belief and each physique might bypass to heaven. Thats why its called faith. Thats how he knows you're worth to bypass. So for the certainty which you assert its greater improtant to have "us" believers teach to something of the international that he DOES exist than for the "non" believer is rather hypocritical seeing how its going to be in basic terms as stressful and pointless. All we can do is unfold the be conscious the god does love you and which you will possibly desire to beleive. even though all of it boils right down to you. Do you or do you no longer have self belief? returned, thats why they call it "faith". Theres your answer no longer that it somewhat became right into a question besides. to no longer point out the best guy ever albert einstein tried to disprove a god with technology and he could no longer. he stated that he believed in a god ( didnt specify a definite one ) yet reported all this might no longer be achieveable without some out section source. he's barely human tho.

My comment is a general comment and my personal opinion. I've spoken to many atheists that look down on those who "do" believe. If we respect atheists for their choice of not believing in a GOD, they also should, respect others for believing in a God. However, this problem is a common problem among humanity. If you don't believe like a certain group, then you automatically are discriminated toward. (Except some exceptional humans of course who do happen to exists among all beliefs.)

Why would an atheist be bitter? No one is sitting in the sky telling us we are losers bound to an afterlife of fire no matter what we do.

How about this:
"Dear oh dear, you are suffering in mental pain. How many times do you have to be told? Science has already shown that religious people suffer from mental illness and they they are predisposed to a "spiritual or religious" gene. Many Atheists and scientists believe that religious people have a mental genetic problem. Is that too difficult to understand?"
Sounds pretty bitter to me.

Let's see...Christians have been called in this forum morons, idiots, nuts, self-righteous, retards. Well, you get the picture.
Why don't you just create your own forum and stop trying to make us feel inferior with your knowledge?
Of course, we're told we'll be perescuted. Man, ain't it something to think that the atheist here are fulfilling what the Bible says will happen?
Interesting.
Oh, I forgot from the first answer - clowns.

Not 5 minutes ago a girl posted a question about being baptized and in her post she advised that she had "re-connected" with God. One of you jokers asked her:
"How can you reconnect with an imaginary being."
I think that says it all.

Never a one. Most atheists I've met keep it to themselves and have very well thought out reasons for believing as they do. I'm a Theist, but who knows.... I could be wrong. Mosth atheists I've met respect that and don't try to convince me of their opinions and I do likewise for them.
