The purpose of language is to enable creatures to communicate meaning. Words come to have accepted meanings. When you say something, using words, you expect your listener or reader to have the same understanding of the words as you do. If you refer to a "power cord" as an "extension cord" when they are in fact two different things, people will think you are talking about an extension cord when you are really trying to talk about a power cord.

You can use whatever words you like if you don't mind others not understanding you.

Red you can interpret it as 'landing on luna' if you like -- but the person writing probably meant 'laughing out loud'.

No. You might as well talk to yourself in the corner because you wouldn't be understood my the community.

actually i interpret it as "lemons or limes". it never ever makes sense in context LOL. see what i mean?

someone told me that it stood for "lack of length". -ahem-

probably not a good thing to advertise.

but i am positive it doesn't stand for "lemmings over lemurs". that wouldn't make sense ever.

oh and btw, wtf is stfu? omg omg roflmao!! ttfn!
