I feel they should be able to. A good teacher is someone who care share their knowledge without condescension or impatience. Does it really matter if it's a woman or a man?

What about Joyce Myers and all the people she has done good too and helped and brought to Christianity.
As far as this situation I personally think it doesn't look good on Christianity and the Baptists and so forth, but really Im wondering about, maybe there s more to this because it just doesnt make any logical sense, but whatever it is Im sure that God will take care of her, especially if she has been wronged by the church !

I used to attend the Church of Christ that became into that way. they did no longer enable women do something. They weren't allowed to evangelise, prepare, or per chance help with series/communion. if that that they had something they had to declare, they suggested it through their husbands/fathers/brothers, and so on. I hated it. i'm no longer a feminist or something like that, yet to declare that a woman should be silent honestly basically through actuality she is a woman is absurd. that that they had alot of strict beliefs like that even with the undeniable fact that. yet another became into that there have been no musical instruments to be executed interior the church. No choir or something. each and each and each and each of the time they have been qouting scripture as their reasoning. i imagine undesirable for that lady. After fifty 4 years, they basically up and adjust their minds. i'd be outraged. If I easily were employed through them and by no skill basically a volunteer, i might want to also be talking to my felony specialist.

I cannot stand that short sighted view. Yes woman can teach Sunday school. It says in the Word that woman are to be teachers.

Isn''t this something best left up to each church or faith? I am Catholic and although women cannot be priests they can be religious education teachers and hold many important roles.

Unfortunatly in some religions women are not allowed to have any part in the teaching...its a shame because there are a lot of great women thinkers out there.

That's disgusting. I hope the women of that church stage a boycott or a sit-in or something, because that's awful.

If there are no available men to teach, yes. However, women tend to be more emotional than men and therefore not as strong authoritatively. Also, Eve led Adam into sin which is why women are now required to follow rather than lead. We women can thank Eve for our plot in life.
