Sounds like a good idea to me...get a squirt gun and use it! Kids need all the discipline they can get today, parents are not doing it at home...someone has to do it, this is harmless, gets their attention quickly, and you can then scold them. Go for it.

Okay your kid is not a cat! That is no way to discipline a child. They will not learn from it at all. I squirt my cat with water if it gets on the counter. That is crazy that they would squirt your child.

Yes, there's no reason to "squirt" anything at anybody. You're an authotity figure, and as such you are showing the kid that that is an ok thing to do. Setting a really bad example.

That's messed up. You squirt cats and dogs and that's still mean.
So everytime you do something that someone else doesn't agree with, it's okay for them to squirt you with water.
But it's also funny. LMAO.

Yes, I would get mad if my kid got squired with water as a form of discipline. I would take my kid out of the daycare and find another daycare. There are other forms of discipline besides doing that.

The offending child should be bent over the desk and given 6 strokes on the rear with a light and bendy cane.

I would be furious. My child is a child, not a cat who claws the arm of the sofa or a dog who keeps peeing in the corner.

I think it is a great idea. No yelling, no hitting, no physicly just picking up the child and moving it. Just some harmless water.

yes, i would mind cause that's on the verge of being abusive. i'd have a talk with these ppl and tell them not to do it again. words are ok, touching even by way of water isn't.

I always prefered that my kids be disciplined by spanking. The schools sometimes have a policy against that, so, if a watergun is all you have, go for it.
