Open a can of coffee and take a sniff. Your passages will clear out and you'll be rid of the smell.

I don't have allergies, but every time I take almost any kind of medicine, I get a weird smell high up in my nose. It lasts for a few hours, then goes away. It is HIGHLY annoying!! lol

After having a horrible sinus infection and taking several rounds of antibiotics, I smelled cigarette smoke all the time for several months. And I don't smoke! My eyes would even start watering from it sometimes. Sounds crazy, but I've talked to other people who had the same thing happen. I think sinus infections can do weird things to your sense of smell. I imagine smelling coffee grounds or something might help temporarily, but you might want to try a Neti Pot or other system for flushing your sinuses, and see if that gives you more relief.
